Amaou Fukuoka あまおう 福岡 is a very rare and valuable strawberry produced only in Fukuoka prefecture. As the name "Amaou" is taken from the acronym "Akai / Marui / Ookii / Umai", the fruits are large and well-shaped, red and glossy, and have a good balance of sweetness and acidity. In order to prevent damage due to the recent rise in temperature, the harvest is in  7 to 8 minutes, leaving the unripe white meat.

The storage period is about one week when stored in a refrigerator, but it tends to lose its freshness, so please consume as soon as possible.
